The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: The project will remove and replace the existing standby diesel generator at the Civic Center. Additionally, the automatic transfer switch will be replaced and a triple switch allowing for temporary generator docking will be added. The project will also include all necessary electrical infrastructure, and other items not mentioned here, but are required by the plans and the Special Provisions. Q&A Deadline 05/31/2023 4:00 PM (PDT) Estimated Bid Value $1,676,710 Start/Delivery Date Estimated July, 2023 Project Duration 150 Working Days The City reserves the right, after opening bids, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, to make awards in the interest of the City, and to reject all other bids. Prime Contractor must possess a valid Class C-10 license. At the time of submitting the bid, the Bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of California Business and Professions Code Chapter 9, Division 3. Work for this item Shall include the procurement, delivery, and installation of the Generator/Base Fuel Tank, Automatic Transfer Switch, and Triple switch to include all conduit and cabling per the project plans and specifications. Temporary portable generator will be required as standby for all scheduled shutdowns to sustain critical operations for the Civic Center and all other indirect costs associated with completing the work. As of August 16,2023, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.
