As of July 31, 2023 the project was awarded to Alpha Commercial Roofing for $214,661.31. The Meriwether County Board of Commissioners shall accept proposals to evaluate, remove, and replace the existing roof on the Meriwether County Jail, Jail Annex, and associated corridors connecting the main building. The location ofthis project is the Meriwether County Jail and Jail Annex, located at 17400 Roosevelt Hwy, Greenville, Georgia 30222. An evaluation of the existing roof and associated structure to allow the proposer to determine the scope ofrepairs necessary on the jail andjail annex. 2.) Removal and disposal of existing roofing and other material that could compromise the new roof in the future. 3.) Plan and Proposal to replace the roof with a proven roofing product that has been successfully used on similar structures. Type, composition, and thickness ofthe proposed roofing material. B) Warranty and life expectancy ofthe new roof. C) Required future maintenance, including time intervals. D) History ofperformance ofthe roofing materials on other facilities. E) Any material manufacturer's product specification, time on the market and warranty information.
