Award: Bowen for $525,050.50 This project consists of reconstruction of Deerfield Road and Woodshire Circle, between 725 East and Glen Oaks Street. Reconstruction includes removing and replacing existing asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveway approach repairs, and upgrading some pedestrian ramps. Plans, Specifications And Bid Forms Will Be Available Beginning April 30, 2023, Online At Purchasing.utah.gov Under The vendors tab or electronically at Murray City Public Works, 4646 South 500 West, Murray, Utah 84123. Any Questions Should Be Directed To Sciquest/up3 A Non-refundable Fee Of $0 For Each Set Of Plans On Cd Is Required. Documents Required At Opening: 1. Bid Forms Provided. 2. Cashier Or Certified Check Or Bid Bond Made Payable To Murray City Corporation In An Amount Equal To At Least Five Percent (5%) Of The Total Amount Of The Bid. Within Seven (7) Calendar Days After Notification Of Award The Successful Contractor Will Be Required To Submit: 1. Performance Bond And A Labor And Material Bond, Both In The Amount Of 100% Of The Total Amount Of The Proposal. 2. Copy Of Current Business License. 3. Copy Of State Registration And/or License. If All Required Documents Are Not Provided, The Bid Will Be Disqualified. Murray City Corporation Reserves The Right To Accept Or Reject Any Or All Bids, Or Any Part Of Any Bid, To Waive Any Informalities In Any Bid, As Its Best Interest Appear a non-refundable payment of $0.00 per set A prebid conference will not be held. Complete sets of Documents must be used in preparing the Bid; neither OWNER nor ENGINEER assumes any responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bid Documents. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of five percent of the CONTRACTORS maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond They Also Recognize The Delays, Expense And Difficulties Involved In Proving The Actual Loss Suffered By Owner If The Work Is Not Completed On Time. Accordingly, Instead Of Requiring Any Such Proof, Owner And Contractor Agree That As Liquidated Damages For Delay (but Not As A Penalty) Contractor Shall Pay Owner Two Hundred Dollars ($ 200.00) For Each Day That Expires After The Time Specified Addenda may also be issued to modify the Bid Documents as deemed advisable by Owner Or Engineer.
