. Supply and install the manufacturer’s preventative maintenance kit for all district boilers • In preparation of the heating season, refer to manufactures guidelines to reverse any layup process • Monitor gas, air pressure, vacuum readings, safety controls, and limits and adjust as necessary to meet manufacturer’s specifications • Measure O2 and CO2 levels and exhaust temperatures • Open fireside of the boiler and remove any soot accumulation • Inspect water side for corrosion, cracks, and /or excessive scale and clean as needed • Inspect flues and combustion air • Check fuel valves to ensure tight closing when burner is off • Check fuel and air linkages; confirm set screws on linkage are tight and holding linkage in place • Inspect contactors, relays and all electrical connections and tighten as needed • Check condensate neutralization kit to ensure proper operation • Check operating and limit controls; Remove and clean deposits from control piping. Confirm controls shut the burner down at the predetermined set point • Visually inspect and clean burner orifices • Perform a critical safety and interlock testing • Check the condition and settings of the safety relief valves • Boiler waterside shall be closed using new gaskets • The fireside shall have new gaskets installed • Inspect and clean the heat exchanger, igniter, atomizer, electrodes and other components • To ensure proper operation; start heating system, cycle and monitor • Tune up when boiler is under load and test all safety controls and commission to prepare for the winter season Boiler PM and Maintenance Services Question Deadline 07/21/2023 at 10:00 AM CT
