As of June 6, 2023 bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid The work includeds all labor, materials, and equipment, and perform all work required for the Senior Center Parking Lot and Sidwalk Improvements. This includes, but not limited to 819 square yards of 6-inch reinforced concrete parking lot and 257 square yards of 4-inch think reinforced concrete sidewalk. Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national, state bank or savings and loan in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the City of Hutchins, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance bond and payment bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance bond, a Material and Labor Payment Bond, and a 2-year Maintenance Bond, all upon the form provided in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety or other sureties acceptable to the Owner. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Owner may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formality in bids received.
