The Town of Wallingford intends to engage the services of a qualified and competent heavy highway contractor to perform roadway paving at various locations in the Town of Wallingford. The qualified and competent contractor will possess the necessary equipment and manpower to effectively and efficiently perform all required assignments under this contract. The contractor will need to demonstrate a successful history of completion on similar projects and assignments. Traffic control will be provided by the Town of Wallingford. The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to correct an award erroneously made as a result of a clerical error on the part of the Town of Wallingford. A contract shall not be awarded to any corporation, firm or individual who has an unpaid and overdue debt to the Town by nonpayment of taxes, by debt or contract, or who is in default as surety or otherwise by any obligation to the Town.
