Question Deadline 08/25/2023 at 5:00 PM PT VVTA reserves the right to withdraw or cancel this RFP at any time without prior notice and VVTA makes no representation that any contract will be awarded to a proposer responding to this RFP. CONTRACTOR shall pay for all taxes, except for sales, use, transaction, and excise taxes that were legally enacted at the time CONTRACTOR’s offer submitted. CONTRACTOR shall secure and pay for all permits and governmental fees, licenses, and inspections necessary for the proper execution and completion of this Contract. Minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined by the US Department of Labor (Davis Bacon Act) and the California Secretary of Labor. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates predetermined by the US Department of Labor and the prevailing wage rates as determined by the California State Secretary of Labor for similar classifications of labor, the Contractor and his subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher wage rate. In accordance with provisions of Section 1773.2 (amended 1977) of the California Labor Code copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the State Director of Industrial Relations and are available at the California Department of Industrial Relations The project will consist of one station located in Hesperia CA. The station will be equipped with three (3) dispensers, two (2) private 350 BAR (H35) dispensers for VVTA’s fleet, and a 350 BAR (H35)/700 BAR (H70) dispenser for light duty and heavyduty applications. The station will be designed and built to fuel 60 buses and more than 20 passenger cars per day. The station will include an 18,000-25,000-gallon liquid hydrogen storage tank, and all necessary equipment to operate the station to meet the needs of the agency; liquid hydrogen will be delivered on an as needed basis.
