Provide labor and materials to prepare and repaint cogeneration plant piping per permitted plans and specifications. Work to include surface preparation, protection of adjacent equipment, painting, and any scaffolding required to perform the Work. Work to be performed during work hours and after hours as approved by University Representative. The facility is an active cogeneration plant. Contractor is responsible to schedule required inspections and testing from agency procured by University. In addition, the University is committed to promoting and increasing participation of small business enterprises (SBEs) and disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) relating to all goods and services covered under the awarded agreement, subject to any and all applicable obligations under state and federal law, and University policies. The awarded contractor shall make best efforts to provide qualified SBEs and DVBEs with the maximum opportunity to participate. Please email ContractsAdministration@capnet.ucla.edu for further information PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE UCLA CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATION OFFICE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED BUT WILL BE OPEN FOR RECEIPT OF BIDS FOR THIS PROJECT APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE ABOVE-SPECIFIED BID DEADLINE. BIDDERS SHALL PLAN THEIR BID SUBMISSION ACCORDINGLY.
