AS of May 4, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project is to upgrade equipment for the high school weight room used by student athletes of various sports. Equipment specifics certain commercial grade equipment. See Attachment A for models and quantity. Alternate equipment models and manufacturers may be considered if quality is equal or greater than that requested. If bidding alternate equipment, a full description with independent reviews is required. The delivery of the project should be as soon as possible after the bid is awarded. The East Haddam Board of Education is tax-exempt. The Town of East Haddam reserves the right to waive any informalities or defects in any bid. The Town reserves the right to accept other than the lowest bid if the Board of Selectmen, in its sole discretion, deems it to be in the best interest of the Town to do so. Bids, amendments to bids or withdrawal of bids after the time set for bid acceptance will not be considered. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
