New Water Well and Associated Improvements The work shall consist of: Furnish and Installation of a new 250 GPM Water Well and associated piping. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder or an accepted Surety, a certified check, or bank draft payable to the TOWN OF SNOW LAKE SHORES, MISSISSIPPI, on negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), shall be submitted with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bidders are directed to the contract requirement that not less than the minimum wages and salaries set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, in accordance with the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. In addition, the Contractor must ensure that employment and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or natural origin. Bids may be held up to 90 days from the date of opening for review of bids and qualifications of bidders prior to Contract award.
