General Scope of Work: The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) seeks a Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, testing, bypassing, and supervision necessary for the removal of all existing equipment, modifications, and upgrades to the Talleyrand Marine Terminal Phase C Lift Station Questions: Related to this ITB are due by 12:00 P.M. (EDT) on Friday, August 11, 2023. Submit questions by e-mail only to sandra.platt@jaxport.com Each bidder shall furnish with the bid a bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total bid, as a guaranty that the bid will not be withdrawn for a period of 90 calendar days after opening of bids. The parties agree that at the time of entering into this Agreement the parties cannot determine the precise amount of damages that JAXPORT will suffer in the event Contractor is unable to perform its obligations under this Agreement. The parties agree that the damages suffered by JAXPORT under such circumstances are uncertain and difficult to ascertain Liquidated Damages for failure to complete the work within the time specified for the completion of the work shall be: $500 per calendar day The Authority reserves the right to award this contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, and whose bid is fully conforming to the requirements of the bid documents.JAXPORT reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part.
