DAMASCUS TOWNSHIP BID NOTICE The Board of Supervisors are accepting bids through PennBid at www.pennbid.net for the following project: Weiland Bridge Replacement. Bids are due on April 14, 2023, by 1:00 PM and expected to be awarded at the regular Board meeting, April 17, 2023, at 7 PM, 60 Conklin Hill Road, Damascus PA. 570-224-4410. Remove temporary bridge, bridge onto owners trailer. Install new bridge abutment walls. Install new bridge into place. Repair stone walls into new abutments. Install Riffles in stream bed as per plans. Remove existing 15" culvert. Install new 15" culvert as per plan. Install crushed stone approaches. Remove temporary by-pass. Township to pick up by-pass culvert pipe and concrete blocks used in temporary stream crossing. Install guard rail W provided, on bridge. All workmanship to be preformed according to current PennDot 408 Specifications. Bridge structure to be provided and installed according to manufactures specifications & engineers site plan. DAMASCUS TOWNSHIP, WEILAND ROAD, T-521. Located off of Township Barkley Lake Road, T-626. The bridge is located approximately 4 tents of a mile from intersection of Barkley Lake Road.
