Project consists of complete demolition of existing fire station in its entirety, construction of new two-story fire station building, total 13,647 square-feet. Work includes but is not limited to the following: mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and alarm, vehicle exhaust system, communications and electrical systems, vehicle fueling and emergency generator. Bidders must have a Class B California Contractors license. Upon award, the Contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount bid The estimated cost of construction is $ 13,700,000.00. COMPLETION TIME IS 400 WORKING DAYS LIQUIDATED DAMAGES ARE $ 2,100 PER CALENDAR DAY
