Project 1 - Interior Finishes, HVAC, and Lighting Renewal: Is primarily focused on interior upgrades to the Mountainview and Valleyview Residence buildings to modernize the resident rooms and allow for better bed bug management through the removal of all fixed furniture. All interior finishes, lighting, and mechanical radiant cabinets within the resident rooms will be upgraded. Project 2 - Mechanical & Electrical Renewal: Includes work in all three buildings (Academic Building, Mountain View Residence, and Valley View Residence). The mechanical scope of work is planned to include the renewal of HVAC, the addition of backflow preventers, new vestibule heaters, a condensing unit for AH-1, and the integration of a BMS system. The electrical scope of work planned includes upgrades to electrical switchboards and circuit panel boards, emergency lighting, and free alarm systems. Project 3 - Renewal of Interiors: Includes additional interior renovations, the majority of which are focused on improving security and access throughout the campus to better accommodate barrier-free requirements. Entrances and washrooms will be upgraded across the HTC campus to support the Alberta Public Services Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan, while also complying with current barrier-free requirements. Project 4 - Exterior Enclosure Renewal: Includes the addition of security fencing at the Mountain View Residence. Various upgrades are planned in the Valley View Residence, including the replacement of the curtain wall in the west lounge, removal of the fireplace in the lounge and the associated repairs to the building envelope and interior finishes, replacement of several punched windows to improve security, rainwater drainage improvements, and security upgrades. Project 5 - Sanitary Line Repair: A CCTV scan has been complete for the existing Mountain View Residence sanitary line and it has identified a sag in the line. This project is isolated to fixing this particular issue and resolving all sanitary issues. Bid values are undisclosed.
