Catawba County (hereinafter "County") is requesting bids from qualified Contractor(s) to make repairs to the landfill access asphalt road at the Blackburn Landfill Facility, located on Rocky Ford Road (S.R.2019) in Catawba County, North Carolina. This project consists of three (3) sections that will require cut out repairs, 2" milling, and a 2" overlay Saw cutting and removal of existing pavement in areas A through V and 10 inches of sub grade, see Attachment A. Old damaged asphalt and sub grade that has been removed will be loaded by contractor and brought to the asphalt recycling area, located on site. Question Deadline 08/15/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Installation of 10-Inch Compacted Aggregate Base Course to 100% standard proctor in a minimum 3 inch to maximum 4 inch lifts. Installation of 3-Inch Type S9.5C Intermediate Binder Course and installation of 2-Inch Surface Type S9.5C. Catawba County reserves the right to reject any and all Bid responses and to waive informalities as may be permitted by law. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment bond, each in the amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum, will be required to be furnished at the execution of the Contract Documents, if the contract amount is greater than $300,000.00.
