The project consists of a new gym/community center and multipurpose recreational complex. A master plan for the gym complex and gym/community center building program are attached to this RFP for reference. The selected project site is the former Haynes School property located off of 5th Street. An extension of Alfred Street from US Hwy 80 has been proposed as a potential access route to the property. This road is intended to be constructed by other parties as part of a development agreement The preliminary construction budget for the project, including general conditions, contingencies, and CM fee, will be between $13 million and $14 million. Provides protection against bodily injury and property damage claims arising from operations of a contractor or tenant. Minimum limits: $1,000,000 bodily injury and property damage per occurrence and annual aggregate. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal which may be considered irregular, show serious omission, unauthorized alteration of form, unauthorized alternate proposals, incomplete or unbalanced proposals or irregularities of any kind
