Description of Project: This project consists of the design of the City of Willard's Water Treatment System (WTS) Improvements, which includes improvements at the River Intake Building, Reservoir Intake Building, and the City's Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The River Intake Building consists of the replacement of the following: out-of-service 14,000 gpm pump with a 6,650 gpm, 150 HP pump, all existing valves, as well as the existing MCC with a new MCC containing soft start motors. Additional improvements include minor structural and architectural upgrades. The Reservoir Intake Building consists of the replacement of the existing pump #3 with a 125 HP pump on a variable frequency drive (VFD), as well as the existing MCC with a new MCC containing soft start motor starters, including a new generator, SCADA panel, and VFD equipment. Additional improvements include the installation of a bulk sodium permanganate feed system in a building addition, as well as minor structural and architectural upgrades. Question Deadline 11/24/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Bidder questions must be received no later than Manufacturers requesting to be named as an alternative product to those included in the specifications shall submit sufficient information to the Engineer for review to determine the proposed product meets the requirements of the specifications.
