Project Scope: Pedestrian style post top fixtures will be added along Alberta Bridge on University Boulevard East and the elevated roadway leading up to the bridge on the eastern and western sides of the bridge. The style of the new pedestrian fixtures will match the style of the existing roadway lighting along University Boulevard while adding bridge lighting in a similar fashion to those installed on the 2nd Avenue bridge located next to Coleman Coliseum. A new electrical service and infrastructure for future CCTV cameras will be provided as part of the infrastructure associated with the lighting. The project will also include an additional fiber conduit added across the Alberta Bridge that will provide an underground fiber connection for the City of Tuscaloosa on both sides of the Aberta Bridge along University Boulevard. Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
