This is a multi-prime bid. Questions during the bidding process shall be submitted by RFI format through Portal. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE: 11/23/2022 12:00 PM. Proposals shall conform to all other requirements as more fully set forth in the bidding documents. The Central Bucks School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce quantities, and exercise its judgment as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. The Work generally consists of the following, but refer to the drawings and specifications for the complete scope of work: 1. Demolition of existing pool packaged air handling units and associated controls, piping, ductwork, hangers and supports. 2. Demolition of existing split system condensing units and associated piping, refrigerant, controls, hangers and supports. 3. Demolition of existing reheat boiler (to be turned over to owner), and associated flue, controls and piping 4. Limited demolition of existing boiler room hot water piping, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, valves, pumps, fittings, and controls. 5. Alternate Bid: Demolition of existing pool lighting. 6. Demolition of existing rooftop solar heating panels and associated piping and pumps. 7. Rooftop cutting and patching for existing and new penetrations. 8. Installation of new structural elements to support the new exhaust fan, rooftop units, condensing units and ductwork. 9. Installation of new pool roof top packaged units, associated piping, ductwork and controls. 10. Installation of new remote condensing units, associated piping and controls. 11. Installation of new return air and supply air ductwork, including painting to match existing. 12. Installation of new pool exhaust system, including ductwork and roof exhaust fan. 13. Installation of new boilers, boiler room hot water piping, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, valves, controlled valves, pumps, fittings, and controls. 14. Painting of pool area, including cleaning and patching of noted areas. 15. Installation of doors and storefront window system and new door hardware & weather stripping. 16. Alternate Bid: Installation of new pool lighting phase via existing hot water circulation loop from winter boiler plant. Provide all associated system isolation and draining from removed summer boiler system. b. Electrical Contractor to remove all associated power to demolition mechanical equipment per contract documents. c. General contractor shall patch roof openings where solar heat piping has been removed. 2. Phase 2 - Full Construction: May 30, 2023 - September 1, 2023: a. Balance of all mechanical, electrical and general construction work shown on the drawings and outlined in the specifications. Project shall be substantially completed by 9/1/23
