10/26/2023 Last Day for Questions 5:00 PM The Site is located to the east of SE 6th Avenue, south of SE 3rd Court, north of SE 7th Street, and west of S Federal Highway, as shown on the plans. The work area includes the right of ways of the City of Deerfield Beach in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work, plans and technical specifications herein. The work shall include, but not limited to, the construction of the infrastructure site work for West Deerfield Capital Improvement Project. The work will include but not be limited to drainage system improvements, swale, driveway and pavement restoration in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications. Pursuant to Florida Statutes Section 255.20, Proposers may be considered ineligible to bid by the City if the Proposer has been found guilty by a court of any violation of federal labor or employment tax laws regarding subjects such as safety, tax withholding, workers' compensation, unemployment tax, social security and Medicare tax, wage or hour, or prevailing rate laws within the past five (5) years. The City reserves the right, based upon its deliberations and in its opinion, to accept or reject any or all responses, or terminate the competitive solicitation process at any time and secure the solicited products and services by any other lawful means. The City also reserves the right to waive minor irregularities or variations to the specifications and in the competitive solicitation process. Bid security shall be given as guarantee that the Proposer will not withdraw or modify their response for a period of one hundred eighty (180) days after the competitive solicitation closes, or as otherwise extended and agreed to in writing, and if awarded the Successful Proposer will execute the Contract and timely provide the required bonds and proof of insurance to the City. Bid Security shall either be a bid bond issued by a Surety authorized to issue such bonds in the State of Florida, a certified check, or cashier's check drawn on a local bank in good standing in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response submitted
