A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Base Work a. The removal of the existing roof systems on Rawls Hall and installing a new 2 ply modified bitumen roof system. Rawl Hall Roof Replacement Pursuant to I.C. 5-16-13-10(c), bidders must be pre-qualified under I.C. 4-13.6-4 or I.C. 8-23-10. The attention of the Bidder is called to the General Conditions of the contract, 13.15 regarding these provisions. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Bids may be withdrawn prior to such time, but no bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days thereafter. Bids shall be for complete construction only, properly executed and submitted on Form 96, accompanied by executed Form 96A (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts) giving financial data as recent as possible, and a Non-Collusion Affidavit together with other documents as required by the Instructions to Bidders and addressed to The Trustees of Purdue University, clearly marked with the project and the bid opening date. Each bid must be accompanied by the Contractor's written plan for a program to test the contractor's employees for drugs in accordance with IC 4-13-18. Each bid must be accompanied by a Contractor's Combination Bid Bond and Bond for Construction in the form included in the specifications made payable to The Trustees of Purdue University in an amount equal to the maximum total of the base bid and any alternate bids, guaranteeing the execution and faithful performance of the contract for the work if awarded.
