Sanitary Sewer I-135 Interceptor Relocation, Blake to Industrial (south of Harry, west of Hillside) 22W-13252 For comments that affect bid items and/or quantities: Noon Tuesday prior to bid opening. For questions and comments requiring clarification only: Noon Wednesday prior to bid opening. This is necessary so appropriate changes and responses can be completed before bidding. The work on these projects shall be completed within 520 (five hundred twenty) total for all projects working days from date of beginning work and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications, once the work order is issued. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed. The Contractor shall read and fully comprehend every aspect of the contract provisions included in this bid proposal, prior to submitting a bid for the project. Any questions prior to bid submittal should be directed to James Wagner, Project Engineer, at (316) 268-4505 or jwagner@wichita.gov. The work on these projects shall be completed within 520 (five hundred twenty) total for all projects working days from date of beginning work and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications The work order on these projects shall be issued no later than 90 (ninety) or At Contractors Request calendar days after the date on which the contract for these projects has been awarded to the successful bidder or at the Contractors request to start earlier. Section 102.7, Equal Employment Opportunity, add the following: On State/Federal-aid contracts, Contractor is required to pay Davis-Bacon wages and meet the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Wage Act for the entire project, including non-participating work. Liquidated Damages shall be $1,500 per day past the allotted 500 days allowed for all projects. Acceptance and deposit of any check by BNSF does not constitute an agreement between BNSF and Licensee for the requested license. Owner reserves the right to conduct laboratory comparison of the test product with the submitted product Part A and B formulation using infrared spectrometry analysis.
