Water Plant in Laredo, Texas Work covered by these Technical Specifications is entitled 'Water Plant No. 1, Phase 1 for Gateway MUD No.1, Webb County, Texas.' Description of Work: a. Under this Contract, Contractor shall furnish all materials, appliances, tools, equipment, transportation, services, and all labor and superintendence necessary for the construction of the Work as described in these Technical Specifications and as shown on the Plans. The completed installation shall not lack any part that can be implied as necessary to its proper functioning or any subsidiary item that is customarily furnished, and the Contractor shall deliver the installation to Owner in operating condition. b. The Work, in general, under this Contract includes the purchase, installation, and construction of all structures, equipment, and materials, including appurtenances, as indicated on the Plans. Major items of construction and services required are designated as follows: (1) Construct Water Plant No. 1 including all site work necessary for water plant construction, fill compacted to grade, two 252,302-gallon ground storage tanks, 6,000-gallon hydro-pneumatic tank, one 400 gpm, one 700 gpm, and two 1,400 gpm booster pumps, chlorination system, electrical and instrumentation with building and fencing for a fully operational plant. (2) Furnish and install all appurtenances and systems necessary for a fully operational plant. (3) Perform testing as specified on installed lines. (4) Clean-up project area upon completion. The Work, which shall include the furnishing of all material, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary or incidental for the construction of Water Plant No. 1, Phase 1 for Gateway MUD No. 1. The Project includes all site work necessary for water plant construction, including but not necessarily limited to fill and grading, two 252,302-gallon ground storage tanks, 6,000-gallon hydro-pneumatic tank, one 400-gpm jockey pump with VFD, one 700-gpm booster pump with VFD, two 1,400 gpm booster pumps with soft start, chlorination system, electrical and instrumentation with building, fencing including all appurtenances and systems for a fully operational plant
