Installation of approximately 800m of gravity sewer trunk, the renewal of about 950m of existing combined lateral sewer mains, and tie-in of sewer connections on and around Broadway. Depending on the outcome of the Preliminary Design Review, there may be an additional scope of the renewal of up to 770m gravity sewer trunk. This package of works will be referred to as the Victoria Broadway Area Renewal - Sewer Upgrades ("VBAR-SU", "Broadway", "the Project", or "the Broadway Project" for short). TIMELINE: Request for Proposals seeking professional consulting engineering and other related services for the preliminary design review, detailed design, and construction services for the project has closed. As of August 2023, a preferred proponent has yet to be identified. Further update in fall 2023, pending award. Construction budget is unreleased.
