To have a new fence built at the Bridgeport Spillway. The vendor will provide and construct approximately 380 linear feet of 8' tall security fencing with 2' of barbed and razor wire, for a total of 10' tall. On the interior of the fencing will be a vehicular restraint cable installed on two sides. The support post for the vehicular restraint cable will be integrated into the mow strip and will have 45-degree angles back to the mow strip. A rolling gate on a V track will need to install to secure the 20' opening. The gate will need to be sufficient to have a Viking H-10 Gate operator for the automation of the gate. A concrete approach of approximately 32' long and 20' wide will need to be installed per the specs listed. A man gate will be integrated into the fencing for emergency use. Three round bollards will need to be installed for gate automation. Conduit runs will need to run from the Hoffman pad to the bollards. Ground conditions vary from soil to hard rock. Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Website. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Website will be posted on the website by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day October 24, 2022 The Tarrant Regional Water District reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous response to the Invitation to Bid and other parts of the Contract Documents, or any applicable Statute or Code.
