The Purpose of the Project is to Construct a New Railroad Overpass Including a Shared Use Path on Highway 351 in Craighead County. This Project Consists of Clearing and Grubbing, Removal and Disposal Items, Earthwork, Aggregate Base Course, Achm Base, Binder, and Surface Courses, Portland Cement Concrete Base, Cold Milling Asphalt Pavement, Achm Patching of Existing Roadway, Approach Slabs, Portland Cement Concrete Driveway, Maintenance of Traffic, Minor Drainage Structures, Concrete Ditch Paving, Erosion Control, Concrete Walks, Concrete Curb and Gutter, Construct a Composite Plate Girder Unit With Shared Use Path (Total Length 778.19'), Pavement Marking, and Misc. Items. Routes: 351 Sections: 1 County: Craighead Length: 0.044 mile in length. This Proposal Contains the Job Special Provision "site Use (a+c Method)-calendar Day Contract" for Bidding in Which the Bidder Will Determine the Number of Calendar Days to Complete the Project. The Number of Trainees Required for This Project is 5. The Percentage Goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (Dbe) Participation in This Project is 7.0%. Questions Pertaining to Projects During the Advertisement Period Should Be Addressed to the Program Management Division at Pmd@ardot.gov. the Deadline to Submit a Question Is the Wednesday Prior to the Scheduled Letting Date. a Question Submitted After the Close of Business on the Wednesday Prior to the Scheduled Letting Date May Not Receive a Response. In Order to Have a Bid Considered, Contractors Must Furnish a Proposal Guaranty Consisting of Either a Bidder's Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid. in Order for a Bond to Be Acceptable to the Department, the Company Issuing the Bond Must Be Named in the Department of Treasury Listing of Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies. the Underwriting Limitation of the Bonding Company Shall Be Adhered to. Any Excess (Between the Face Amount of the Bond and the Underwriting Limitation) Shall Be Protected by Reinsurance Provided by an Acceptable Reinsuring Company. These Contracts Are Subject to Normal Prequalification, Licensing and Bonding Requirements, Applicable Labor Laws, Non-discrimination Provisions, Wage Rate Laws and Other Federal Laws Including the Fair Labor Stand The purpose of this project is to place ultrathin bonded wearing course on approximately 17.290 miles of highway 63 in Lawrence and Randolph counties. This project consists of removal and disposal items, aggregate base course, fog seal, ACHM surface course, ultrathin bonded wearing course, cold milling asphalt pavement, ACHM patching of existing roadway, approach gutters, maintenance of traffic, guardrail, rumble stripes, pavement marking, and misc.
