The County of Lexington is seeking sealed proposals to fully remove and replace existing fuel station equipment, canopy, and underground fuel storage tank located at 521 Gibson Rd,Lexington, SC 29072. The existing equipment and infrastructure is operational at this time, but is at the end of its useful service life. This should be a turnkey solution for removal, disposal, and replacement of all existing fuel site materials and equipment. The County of Lexington Sheriff's department has an unleaded only fuel facility that is nearing the end of its service life and is scheduled for replacement. The County would like a proposal to fully replace all existing fueling infrastructure including, but not limited to, canopy, fuel dispensing equipment, 15,000 gallon underground fuel storage tank, piping,wiring, concrete and various associated systems and components. Each offeror shall submit with his Response a Proposal Bond with a good and sufficient surety or sureties company licensed in South Carolina, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount PERFORMANCE BOND: Successful Contractor may be required to provide Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina PAYMENT BOND: Successful Contractor may be required to provide Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina.
