Although a firm timeline has yet to be released, construction is not expected to commence before fourth quarter, 2023. This Project Specific Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Management Services is issued to request qualifications from those Construction Management (CM) firms interested in providing preconstruction and construction management services for the following project: New State Psychiatric Hospital Complex The project address is in the Southeast, Michigan The new building(s) will provide approximately 100-beds for Juvenile/Children psychiatric patients and approximately 160 beds for adult psychiatric patients. Possible consolidated support spaces for both facilities on the same site for the Department of Health and Human Services ("MDHHS") This facility replaces aging and functionally obsolete facilities currently located in Northville and Westland. A 'High level of Magnitude Programming and Budget Forecast' was completed on June 2, 2021, by Integrated Design Solutions, Architecture Plus and Granger Construction Company on a high order of magnitude only, programming requirements were assumed without input from DHHS and therefore requires a full programmatic effort. Questions must be in writing and directed to Maria Alvaro at alvarom1@michigan.net and be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on August 31, 2022. All questions will be responded to in writing and posted via addenda on SIGMA by September 2, 2022. Estimated Construction Budget 250M to 270M *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
