PROJECT NAME: E Satellite and Lower CC E Stucco Replacement, Paint, Lightning Protection, Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (ADVGS), Cameras, Doors/Hardware/Access Control A bidder may submit a modified bid to replace all or any portion of a previously submitted bid up until the proposal due date and time. The County will only consider the latest version of the bid. Each submitted bid shall stand on its own, without reference to or incorporation of materials or documents contained in previously submitted bids. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid in a manner required by the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days. Miami-Dade County, as represented by Miami-Dade Aviation Department ("MDAD") requires the services of a general contractor to provide construction services including, but not limited to project management, onsite supervision, labor, material, tools, equipment, trade subcontractors, licenses, permit, overhead, profit, etc. in accordance with the following documents referred to herein as contract bid documents: o Dry-Run approved construction plans dated April 1, 2022, inclusive of Bulletin 01 revisions dated March 15, 2022, prepared by MOBIO Architects, PC o Project Manual dated April 1, 2022, inclusive of Bulletin 01 revisions dated March 15, 2022, prepared by MOBIO Architects Any person visiting the Ramp level shall hold MDAD ID badge. If the person does not have a badge, then the request for temporary badge shall be made by no later than close of business August 25, 2022 by submitting a copy of the driver license, date of birth, and the last four (4) numbers of their SS number. All approved attendees will be required to abide by the most recent Miami-Dade County Emergency Order (EO) issued by the Mayor. All attendees are required to wear an OSHA approved safety vest in order to attend the site visit. The scope of work for this project consists of, but not limited to: 1. Demolition and removal of existing stucco surfaces and application of new stucco and paint at E Satellite, Lower Concourse E buildings 2. Install new Lightning Protection System at E Satellite, Lower Concourse E buildings Surety Performance Bond (equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, including all allowances) Surety Payment Bond (equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount) The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, or to re-advertise the project. The County, by choosing to exercise its right of rejection, does so without the imposition of any liability against the County by any and all Bidders. The Bidder shall comply with a 10% Community Workforce Goal for this Contract as required by the Community Workforce Program Participation Provisions.
