Question Deadline: July 28, 2023. The scope of work of this contract includes but is not limited to: - Construction of one abutment on the east side of the Don Valley Parkway (DVP) and one on the west side of the Don River. Each abutment consists of two (2) 2.4m diameter deep foundation caissons socketed into bedrock; - Construction of the bridge superstructure for a tied arch 120 metre clear span that will carry two (2) Ontario Line tracks over the Don Valley Parkway ("DVP") and Don River; - Construction of cut and cover structures and portal structures. - Installation of Support of Excavation (SOE) which includes permanent structural lining of the OL cut and cover tunnels and portal, and tunnel headwall with pile block; - Track relocations and removals within the project area to provide space for the proposed SOE construction and final track alignments; - Construction of Hydro One Network Inc (HONI) foundations, installation of HONI monopole and wire relocation; - Construction of the Emergency Service Building (ESB) and connections to City of Toronto service infrastructure; - Construction and Installation of a noise barrier structure; - Construction of a Wet-Well for tunnel stormwater drainage; - Associated Utility and Signal Relocations to facilitate the construction of the above; and - Site remediation and restoration as required. Interim Milestone 1: Hydro One Transmission Line Relocate - April 30, 2025. Interim Milestone 2: Handover Termination Block Headwall - August 5, 2025. Interim Milestone 3: Northern Track Shift in service - April 1, 2026. Interim Milestone 4: Handover Cut and Cover Structure - April 20, 2026. Substantial Completion - August 31, 2027. Only those Proponents that Metrolinx has determined, in its sole discretion based on the Evaluation Criteria stated herein, to be qualified will be added to the Metrolinx Prequalified List of Contractors for the Work.
