The objective of the Project is to construct a new facility for Advantage Behavorial Health Services (ABHS) at 240 Mitchell Bridge Road, Athens, GA. The resulting facility will be a residential style facility for individuals with mental health and potentially co-occurring addictive disease(s). The construction phase will require the installation of but not limited to new all work associated with new commercial wood framed construction, elevator, ADA access, building commissioning & start-up, perimeter fencing, and site work. Special care shall be considered during this project because the construction area is located adjacent to an existing ABHS facility that will remain open during construction and full, 24-hour access must be provided The estimated range of costs for the construction of this Project is between $5,500,000 and $7,000,000. ACCGov serves an area population of approximately 100,000 with annual growth projected at 1% per year.
