Bids To: Owner Bids Due: Accepting separate sealed bid proposals for the following divisions of work: Earthwork, Demo, Well, Hot Mix Asphalt Paving, Concrete, Masonry, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry, Building Insulation, Asphalt Shingled Roof, Metal Roof, Composition Siding, Rolling Shutter, Aluminum Storefront and Windows, Gyp Board Assembly, Flooring, Cabinets & Millwork, Acoustical Panel Ceiling, Painting and Finishing, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical & Security System, and Signage. Delivery: Request for bids. Architect/Construction Manager: Keller, Inc., N216 Road 55, Kaukauna, WI 54130. Prevailing Wages: Not Required. Bid Bond: Bid bond is not required to be provided at date of bid opening. Awarded bidder will be required to furnish bid bond or certified check within 7 days of board approval. Bid bond or certified check must be equal to at least 10% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 30 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 30 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages Performance Bond: 100% of the Contract Price Required Payment Bond: 100% of the Contract Price Required Qualification Statement: Bidders shall submit a Contractor Proof of Responsibility form provided in the specifications to Town of Newbold. Submit form to: Clerk Office, Attn: TOWN HALL BID; 6103 Point Drive Rhinelander, WI 54501. Schedule: Project is anticipated to start in March of 2023 and be substantially complete by September, 2023. Notes: The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities in bid or to accept a bid which will be in the best interest of the Owner. Bids shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 30 days after bid due date. Project Scope: In general the project consists of an approximate 5,200 sq. ft. new town hall.
