As of January 9, 2024, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase pending funding. Bidding is estimated to commence when funding becomes available around 2026-2028. A firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This solicitation shall henceforth be known as Request for Proposal No. 22-3, Carson Water Treatment Plant Project. Professional services requested can generally be described as engineering services required for membrane vendor procurements and piloting, final design, bidding support, construction engineering and post construction support during plant integration. This plant will have an initial capacity of 1 MGD and the capability to expand to 2 MGD as necessary to meet the future needs of the community. The project scope is more specifically described in RFP No. 22-3. Professional engineering firms desiring to submit proposals shall contact Melanie Sharp, Project Manager (509) 219-0134 or e-mail msharp@skamaniapud.com to obtain RFP No. 22-3. Proposals that do not follow the submittal requirements defined in RFP No. 22-3 will not be evaluated.
