As of July 13, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design stage. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Addendum: 1 The Colorado School of Mines (Mines) is seeking firms for the programming of an 800-bed (apartment-style) residence hall, dining hall, and recreation and wellness facility on Mines Campus. Mines is also seeking A/E services through this RFQ process. Approximated construction cost is $210 million. The selection process for the CM/GC will begin following the selection of a firm for this solicitation, acting initially under a Consultant Contract with Mines for purposes of program planning. Upon successful completion of the Consultant Contract, Mines and consulting firm will enter into an A/E CM/GC Agreement for purposes of architectural services. Mines shall reserve the right to terminate the relationship with the consulting firm at any time if it is not in the best interests of Mines or the State of Colorado to continue with selected firm.
