A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Saint Louis Zoo is seeking competitive proposals for the restoration of 145 acres of existing golf course turf and grassland at the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park in North St. Louis County. Within the 145-acre area of interest, the fescue, zoysia and any other undesirable non-native, invasive and toxic plants will be eradicated. Once the undesirable plants are eradicated, this area would be seeded with a permanent grass seed mix that has been approved by the Zoo. All questions must be received for issuing of addendums. Not less than the prevailing hourly wages, as set out in the Wage Order attached to and made part of the specification for work under the contract, shall be paid to all workers performing work under the contract. The contractor will forfeit a penalty to the contracting body of $100 per day (or portion of a day) for each worker that is paid less than the prevailing wage for any work done under the contract by the contractor or by any subcontractor.
