construction of West 8th Street Rehabilitation Project and Court Street Rehabilitation Project in Alturas, California. The work consists of HMA overlay with paving fabric, construction and/or reconstruction of concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, driveways, and pedestrian curb ramps. The work includes drainage modifications, adjustment of utility covers to grade, miscellaneous utility modifications, reconstruction of portions of the asphalt pavement section, signage and pavement markings. Submit your bid with bidders security equal to at least 10 percent of the bid. The Contract bonds must be in force until the later of (1) the expiration of the guarantee period, (2) the completion of the corrective work, or (3) your submittal of guarantee period payment and performance bonds in the amount of 50 percent of the estimated final payment. West 8th Street Rehabilitation (LOCATION 1 - PPNO: 2584) ,Location 2: Court Street Complete the work within 40 working days. The Engineers Estimate is $1,350,000. Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates. Obtain the wage rates at the DIR Web site at: http://www.dir.ca.gov. The successful Bidder must comply with section 7-1.02K(2) Provide responsible charge for construction surveys with a licensed surveyor or registered civil engineer with the authority to perform land surveying.
