The scope of work shall consist of complete paint removal, encapsulation, enclosure, and/or whole component removal of lead-based paint hazards as identified in the lead based-paint inspection report. Chipping and peeling paint on interior/ exterior surfaces and possibly in bare soil. Hazards including friction/ impact surfaces identified in Lead RA. The Davis Bacon Act (DBA) requires the payment of prevailing wage rates (which are determined by the U.S. Department of Labor) to all laborers and mechanics on federally funded construction projects in commercial properties in which more than $2,000 of federal funds are being used and in residential properties in which there are more than 7 units. The Finance Committee reserves the right to waive any formality and may consider as informal any Proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with these provisions. The Finance Committee reserves the right to accept any Proposal or reject any or all Proposals if it is deemed to be in the public interest to do so.
