Replacement of water and sewer lines in sections T023, T026 and T030 identified in the intervention plan. The three sections listed represent approximately 445 meters of water pipes and 315 meters of sanitary pipes. Without limitation, the work includes: Aqueduct: Replacement of 150 mm diameter pre-insulated aqueduct pipes, heating wire, valve, fire hydrants and private services; Connection to the existing aqueduct; Connection of private water services; The installation of water meters provided by the city in the residences of sections T023 and T026. Sanitary sewer: Replacement of sanitary sewer lines, manholes and private services; The connection of sanitary sewers to the existing; The connection of private sanitary sewer services to the existing one. Roads and miscellaneous: Restoration of the premises; Temporary support and protection of existing power lines and poles as well as streetlights. TIMELINE: Tender for section T023 and T026 is anticipated in early 2024. Construction is scheduled to start in spring in 2024 and complete in 2025. Further update in early 2024. Note: Contract for general contractor for T030 portion of the project was awarded to Michel Miller inc following tender call # 2022-001. Reference number: 1604909.
