Reasonable accommodations for auxiliary aids can be made by contacting Misty Petrocelli at MPetrocelli@marincounty.org or by calling (415) 473-7861. Project Description: This project includes pedestrian upgrades at three (3) locations in unincorporated Marin County. The first location, the intersection of Woodland Ave and Auburn Street, scope includes construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, a sidewalk extension/bulb out, stormwater treatment, Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) and new crosswalk striping. The second and third locations, North San Pedro Road and Schmidt Avenue in San Rafael and McAllister Avenue and Stadium Way in Kentfield, will both get RRFBs and pavement markings only. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $236,000. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" License at time of bid submittal. Bidders are advised that, as required by Federal law, the State has established a statewide overall DBE goal. This County Federal-aid contract is considered to be part of the statewide overall DBE goal. The County is required to report to Caltrans on DBE participation for all Federal-aid contracts each year so that attainment efforts may be evaluated. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. Pursuant to Section 1773 of the California Labor Code, the general prevailing wage rates for Marin County where the work is to be done have been determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. These wages are set forth in the General Prevailing Wage Rates for this project, available at the Department of Public Works. Prevailing Wage rates are also available at the State of California Division of Labor Statistics and Research website. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
