Reference number : 1604220 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-05-24 Electronic bid submission accepted: No The City of Saint-Hyacinthe is issuing this call for tenders in order to carry out work which is divided into two (2) separate lots: Lot 1: Emergency reconstruction of the Laurier interceptor The work involves replacing a section of the sanitary interceptor located in the Yamaska River with a 750mm diameter pipe passing under Girouard Street, over a length of approximately 250 meters. The downstream access point is composed of 2 manholes and one (1) tunnel which will have to be sealed and rehabilitated. The work will essentially be inside the existing infrastructure and a new pipe will be installed towards rue Girouard. Upstream, the existing manhole will be abandoned and the bank will be restored. There will be interception of the discharge pipe upstream of the manhole to be abandoned, outside the riparian strip. The General Contractor will have to deal with the temporary pumping put in place for the work and set up additional temporary pumping for certain phases of the work. No sewage overflow will be permitted. Lot 2: Reconstruction of a section of sanitary sewer on rue Beaulieu The work involves replacing the sanitary sewer, including the two (2) manholes, on Avenue Beaulieu, between Avenue de Claire-Vallee and Chemin Giard, over a length of approximately 80 metres. The General Contractor must provide temporary pumping. The repair of the service connections crossed by the work will be carried out in the width of the trench only. The work also includes the repair of the premises and various related works.
