Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 14, 2022. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Pickaway County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, and the State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements and Bid Conditions for OPWC-ASSISTED. CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. Scioto Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in their opinion, offers the lowest responsive and responsible bid. IMPROVEMENT OF 2400' OF GIBSON ROAD FROM APPROXIMATELY 0.7 MILES NORTH OF SR-316 TO WILLIAMS ROAD. PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE PAVEMENT WIDENING, ISOLATED FULL DEPTH PAVEMENT REPAIR, RESURFACING, REGRADING OF DRAINAGE DITCHES, AND CULVERT REPLACEMENT. The work consists of minor roadway widening, full-depth pavement repairs, pavement resurfacing, guardrail, and regrading of shoulder and ditches along 2400' of Gibson Road. The engineers estimate for the work is $472,327.50
