Questions must be in writing, by courier, personal delivery, by fax, or by email and can be submitted to Monica Powell, Treatment Engineering, 1250 Fairwood Avenue, Room 0020, Columbus, OH 43206-3372, mopowell@columbus.gov. Questions must be received at least five (5) days prior to the Bid Opening date. In order for a Proposal to be considered responsive, the bidder must submit all required information for the project as outlined in the advertisement for bids. All materials submitted in response to this advertisement will become part of the awarded contract; will become the property of the City and will not be returned; and will be considered public records subject to disclosure as contemplated by Ohio Revised Code Section 149.43. All materials received will be open to the public once the sealed proposals are publicly opened and read. CONTRACT COMPLETION The duration of a contract for this work is expected to be one year with the option to renew each year for an additional three years upon mutual agreement between the parties and approval by Columbus City Council. Funding of this contract will be on an incremental basis. BID CANCELLATION AND REJECTIONS The Director of Department of Public Utilities may cancel the Advertisement for Bids, reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, or hold bids for a period of 180 days after the bid opening, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
