In general, the work consists of: replacing existing HVAC with a new system providing air conditioning and heating. Provide 3 phase power, network connection in offices and downstairs, remodel kitchen by removing electrical power from kitchen and providing new countertops and appliances. Install new water heater and remodel bathrooms. Provide new LED lighting in the building. The building is not air A-2 conditioned, electrical panel is located in kitchen does not meet code. The building will be more practical to utilize by renewing HVAC system. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
