Milham Park Playground Upgrade The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond which shall not be less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the bid. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guarantee. A performance bond shall be furnished in the full amount of the contract ensuring the City of faithful performance of all the provisions of the contract, and the satisfactory performance of any equipment required hereunder. The bond shall also ensure the City against defective workmanship and/or materials. A labor and material (payment) bond shall be furnished for the period covered by the contract, in the full amount of the contract for the protection of labor and material suppliers and sub-contractors. The Contractor cannot begin work until after September 6, 2022. The Notice to Proceed will be issued once the selected Contractor and the Owner develop a schedule as a condition of this contract and agree to substantial completion of the project by November 21, 2022, as outlined in these documents.
