The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022 for the following: Providing all Materials, Equipment, and Labor for: Henderson Drive Waterline Extension It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure examination of the bid documents and site and to submit any questions / requests for clarification as directed within the Bid Documents. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a Bid Bond, or a Certified or Cashier's Check to the order of the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid and a Consent of Surety form from a surety company licensed to conduct business in the State of Georgia, engaging to furnish, upon award of the Contract, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the completed work and the appropriate insurance certificate. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof. . SCOPE OF WORK The Scope of Work for this projectincludes, butis notlimited to,the furnishing of all coordination, scheduling, supervision, labor, tools and equipment, surveying and stakeout, materials and supplies, incidentals and appurtenances, tie-ins, and mobilization/demobilization as required for the construction ofthenew water main interconnections. Work shall also include, but not be limited to, installation and maintenance oftemporary traffic control devices, pavement restoration, restoration and stabilization of all disturbed areas by placing topsoil, seeding, mulching, fertilizing, over-seeding, refertilizing, maintenance mowing, and incidental necessary to perform the work as designed and approved under this contract. All landscaping and grassing to be restored to pre-construction conditions. All work shall be in accordance with Contract Documents and Plans provided in Attachment 1 and all other applicable requirements of the County, State of Georgia, and any other regulatory authority having jurisdiction to control, limit or otherwise regulate the work performed under this contract.
