The County of Volusia, Facilities is seeking a single, responsive and responsible bidder for the construction of Deland Courthouse Cooling Tower and Roof Replacement located at 101 N. Alabama Ave., DeLand, FL 32724. The lowest responsive and responsible bidder shall be responsible for all applicable permitting, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by the specifications and as shown on the drawings. Term: Total contract time: 120 DAYS ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST: : $1,000,000.00 Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Bid amount payable to the County of Volusia; as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide certificates of insurance in the amounts and categories required by the County and, if required, record separate performance and payment bonds in amounts and with sureties acceptable to the County, within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. The County of Volusia reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the County of Volusia. This project includes replacement of the cooling towers and re-roofing of the sally-port at the Volusia County Courthouse, located at 101 N. Alabama Avenue, Deland FL 32724. The project includes. Installation of a temporary cooling tower system to maintain HVAC functions at the Courthouse Removal/ demolition of the existing two cooling towers Installation of the two new cooling towers Demolition of the roof over the sally-port.
