A firm construction schedule has not been disclosed. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference The Project Description will encompass but not be limited to the following Project Description: The Consultant will lead the process to produce architectural renderings and illustrations of the Phase I design of an ecological restoration project that includes an integrated green belt along the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo river vega between Laredo, Texas and Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas spanning approximately 6.3 river miles (10.1 river kilometers) that will drive economic revitalization on both sides and create a unique international landmark with global reach for this hemisphere. The Site Location: The project site is located along the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo river vega between Laredo, Texas and Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas spanning a geographic area that encompasses approximately 6.3 river miles (10.1 river kilometers) from the Laredo Water Museum/Paso del Indio to Parque Viveros near Chacon Creek, which includes the downtown urban riverfront between both U.S.-Mexico border cities. (See complete RFQ and attachments for Phase I Location Map) The City of Laredo and the Binational Working Group are accepting Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified artists and/or artist team collaborations to produce architectural renderings, illustrations and other related information necessary for a Binational River Park Phase I design of an ecological restoration project that includes but not limited to an integrated green belt along the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo river vega between Laredo, Texas, USA and Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico spanning approximately 6.3 river miles (10.1 river kilometers) that will drive economic revitalization including public art, culture, attracting tourism on both sides and transforming it into a unique international landmark with global reach for this hemisphere. The selected artists, artist team collaborations or firm shall work directly with the Binational Working Group. Formal questions related to the RFQ may be submitted by email: rchavez@ci.laredo.tx.uswith subject title: "RFQ FY22-ENG-10 no later than January 7, 2022, at 12:00 P.M. (CT). Questions received after this date may not be responded prior to the required submittal deadline. No respondent may withdraw his/her Proposal within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. City of Laredo reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals.Alteration or modification of the Respondent Forms shall be cause for rejection of the Proposal.
