The City of Muskogee is soliciting responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from architectural firms to provide professional architectural design and construction administration for Muskogee Swim & Fitness Center Remodel. The RFQ defines the proposed scope of services and the basis for selecting the firm. Introduction and Project Overview To provide the necessary architectural design services for the remodel of existing building at Muskogee Swim and Fitness Center. The scope of the SWIM & FITNESS REMODEL project as outlined in the advertisement, includes the following aspects: Interior remodel work Selective site demolition Resurfacing of existing cast-in-place concrete slab Installation of architectural cabinets and partitions Installation of wood doors, fire-rated fiberglass doors, and hollow metal frames Incorporation of fire-rated aluminum-framed storefront Installation of acoustical panel ceilings Application of resilient base and tile carpeting Other works as indicated in the provided drawings This would involve chaining the size of the ground level studio to the space available. All other elements from option #1 would still be included outside of the new structure items. Construction Cost Estimate: $ 500,000 - $1,000,000. Proposed Scope of Services and Project Deliverables: Project includes site planning, floor plan concepts, renderings & drawings to explain the design, code study, development of demolition and construction plans. Deliverables include preliminary and final design submittals, construction plans and specifications, and assistance during construction.
