This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks a qualified consultant to provide professional services for the re-design of the Civic Center 2nd floor entry located at 152 West Cedar Street, Sequim, WA 98382. The City reserves the right to amend the terms of this RFQ, to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses. Scope Working closely with City Staff, the consultant will develop a design for the identification of needed facilities, upgrade of existing facilities and addition of new facilities, within the existing space for 2nd floor entry, and a budget level cost estimate for the resulting plan. The re-design is expected to provide physical barriers and security between City Staff and the public while still allowing positive interaction. Workstations are needed to accommodate customer service staff and projected future staff. Construction of office space in lieu of some existing cubicles is preferred. The re-design is expected to provide access control preventing guests from unauthorized access to the main workspace and additional protection and separation between the public and employees. The consultant is expected to meet these meet the following milestones: Visit the building and assess the workspace Facilitate visioning for future needs Present draft designs for staff review Presentation of final design Present to Council if the amount is over $70K Submittal of Statement of Qualifications Statements of Qualifications in response to this RFQ must include the following information: Consultant or firm name, phone numbers, mail and email addresses Resums of key personnel (max. 3 single-sided 8.5x11 pages) List of past projects with brief description and reference contact information for each (max. 3 single-sided 8.5x11 pages) A one page cover letter (optional). Any questions regarding this RFQ should be directed to Sarah VanAusdle, Interim Public Works Director, at svanausdle@sequimwa.gov Evaluation Criteria Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria: 1) Qualifications (Expertise/Capacity of Firm, including any subconsultants); 2) Key personnel, including point of contact for task orders and any subconsultants; 3) Relevant project experience, specifically contract experience with municipalities or other government entities.
