The scope of work to be performed under this contract consists of providing materials, labor, equipment and superintendent in accordance with the Technical Specifications and Contract documents. Contractor's responsibilities include but are not limited to: construction sequencing in accordance with the attached plans, specifications, contract documents, all applicable JWSC standards, quality control of workmanship and materials, handling of all materials, handling and disposal of all waste, and compliance with regulatory standards governing the rehabilitation of (3) existing sewer pumping stations as listed below: Station Address Northing Easting 3101 293 South Port Parkway, Brunswick GA 31523 412758.635838887.387 4001 301 3rd Avenue, Brunswick GA 31520 413055.237867792.601 4002 1309 Reynold Street, Brunswick GA 31520 417867.705866743.488 The construction shall neither result in disruption of, nor interfere with, the functional operation of any existing utilities. The Bidder is encouraged to examine the location of the work and inform himself fully as to the conditions present at the site. Requests for clarification received after this date will not be considered. Responses to requests for clarification will be issued by addendum to all pre-bid attendees and will also be posted on the JWSC website. Late bid packages or packages received at any other locations may not be accepted. A bid guarantee in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Acceptable forms of bid guarantees are: a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission. Performance and Payment bonds, each in an amount equal to hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount will be required of the successful Bidder.
